International and Domestic Family Law

We fight on both sides of the Delaware River

We offer a full array of family law services aimed at simplifying your life

Custody

In my almost 50 years of practice, custody is the most complex and emotional area of family law. No two children are the same and no two custody cases are the same. But there is a level of experience which develops over time, which assists in developing the best approach to resolving or litigating strongly contested custody disputes.

Support

In my almost 50 years of family practice the process for obtaining support has changed. While it is true that now support is usually calculated using formula guidelines, my job, as your attorney will be to locate and determine how much income will go into those calculation adding any possible adjustments permitted by law.

Divorce

In my almost 50 years of family practice the grounds for obtaining a divorce have changed from having to prove you spouse committed an unlawful act, to no fault grounds. While the grounds have simplified and become more humanitarian, the emotional impact of the end of a relationship remains the same. As your attorney, while I cannot remove the pain, I must try to soften the blows.

Property Division

In my almost 50 years of family practice the changes to the laws applying to property entitlements and ownership in marriage have had an enormous impact. Now property and assets acquired during a marriage are subject to division no matter whose name is on the asset. My job is to make sure all assets are located and properly valued before being divided fairly according to law.

International Law

During my almost 50 years of family practice handled many complex cases involving international issues while I also served as president of the premiere organization of family lawyers from around the world. My contacts with this worldwide group of high quality family lawyers assists me in obtaining the best representation wherever needed.
